Ever since my first role as a Computer Repair Technician, my curiosity and fascination with technology drew me to every bit of IT knowledge like a moth to a flame. With each new challenge, and each new accomplishment, my passion to continue learning has been strengthened and my expertise bolstered.
Now, as a Lead Network Engineer, I draw from that well of experience and channel that drive into guiding teams and projects, ensuring robust infrastructure strategies, timely implementations, and seamless transitions.
My role demands not only technical excellence but also clear communication, precise scheduling, and a holistic mindset that translates complex requirements into pragmatic, efficient solutions.
Some of the projects I’ve led include:
· Leadership in the Design and Implementation of an Automated SPBM Network, leveraging Extreme Site Engine for NAC, XIQ Pilot for centralised WiFi management, and Campus Fabric switching intelligence.
· End-to-End Design and Implementation of a Highly Redundant 24x7 Manufacturing Network, utilising Extreme Site Engine, WiFi Campus Controller, and EXOS switching.
· Design and Deployment of a Cloud-Managed Fortinet WiFi Solution, spanning 18 office buildings and dozens of switches and firewalls for an international accounting firm.
· Implementation of a Bespoke Secure WAN Solution for Rural California Sales Offices, using Cisco ASA Firewalls, IPSEC tunnels, and EIGRP route redistribution.
I believe that nothing worth learning comes easy. and I live by that mantra by continuing to push myself both professionally and personally, embracing every challenge as an opportunity for growth.
While I strive to maintain a broad skill set, my expertise is deeply rooted in network engineering and infrastructure design. I specialise in crafting robust, scalable solutions that meet the unique needs of clients, leveraging a combination of cutting-edge technologies and proven methodologies.
